Since 2000 in Bulgaria have been in force the Law on technical requirements for products and the Regulation of the essential requirements and conformity assessment of construction products. These regulations have two main objectives:

1. They will establish conditions that guarantee the release on the market only of those products that do not endanger human life and health, and also do not harm consumers’ interests and the environment.

2. They will comply the essential products requirements with those adopted in the Directives of the European Union.

Products with explicit requirements (including security doors) will be released of on the market only after assessment of their compliance with those requirements. TUNADOR is one of the two companies for security doors in Bulgaria, which has successfully passed the mandatory assessment of conformity with the European standards for products used in construction. Tests were carried out by the Construction Research Institute (NISI) - Sofia, resulting in issuing of Bulgarian Technical Approval for construction products, and Protocol No BTO-04.108/15.01.2005 from the initial testing of the type of product 011-NSIOSSP-04.337/07.02.2005. On these grounds was granted the conformity mark. This is a token for the positive assessment of their suitability for use in residential and public buildings in Bulgaria and makes their presence on the Bulgarian market legitimate. ISO 9001 is a mark for the permanent availability of quality management system with the manufacturer. It ensures the achievement of the main indicators of security doors TUNADOR. This is certified and controlled by the world famous Belgian certification body BUREAU VERITAS.
